Custom Dry Bar with Walnut Veneer & Integrated Lighting

This project is a perfect way to close out the year—a striking custom dry bar designed to bring warmth, drama, and functionality to an already beautiful home.

Rich walnut veneer paired with custom-painted cabinetry creates the moody atmosphere my clients were after. The paint color—aptly named “Black Bean Soup”—provides a deep, sophisticated contrast that allows the natural grain of the walnut to take center stage.

At the heart of the design is a stadium-style slide-out liquor drawer, offering generous storage and easy access to bottles. A glass-door display cabinet with integrated LED lighting showcases glassware, while floating shelves with under-shelf lighting provide space for decorative pieces and artwork.

The wall panel behind the shelves is a feature in its own right. Slatted walnut veneer, set against the custom paint color and highlighted by LED lighting, adds depth, texture, and visual rhythm to the composition.

This combination of solid color and walnut veneer continues through the doors and drawer fronts, where integrated pulls keep the focus on material and craftsmanship rather than hardware.

The result is a refined, cohesive dry bar that balances bold design with everyday usability.

Walnut Floating Shelves

This set of custom floating shelves was designed to complement a larger built-in feature on the opposite side of the room, creating visual balance and continuity throughout the space.

Crafted from rich walnut veneer, the shelves showcase the natural beauty and depth of the wood while maintaining a clean, minimal profile. Their simple, floating design allows the artwork to take center stage, providing a warm, elegant platform without visual clutter.

The result is a subtle yet impactful addition—one that ties the room together and highlights both the craftsmanship of the shelves and the pieces displayed upon them.

Dining Room Built-In with Floating Shelves & Dual Wine Coolers

This custom dining room built-in adds both beauty and functionality to the space, providing generous storage while creating a striking focal wall. Designed to support everyday use as well as a curated display, the piece also incorporates a pair of wine coolers to accommodate my client’s growing collection.

The oversized floating shelves—each spanning more than ten feet—were crafted from European white oak and finished with elegant brass gallery rails. These rails add both visual detail and practical support for displayed items. Below, the custom-painted cabinets create a bold contrast that highlights the warmth of the oak while tying in seamlessly with the brass hardware.

A full shiplap backdrop turns the wall behind the shelves into a feature element, adding subtle texture and depth. Paired with the marble-look countertop and backsplash, the finished installation creates a refined, cohesive dining space that balances clean design with everyday utility.

Rustic White Oak Trimwork & Custom Cabinetry – Entryway & Dining Area

This project transformed the entranceway and dining area of the home with a coordinated series of custom trimwork and cabinetry, all crafted from rustic white oak veneer. The goal was to add warmth, character, and architectural interest while maintaining a unified design language throughout the adjoining spaces.

In the entryway, Shaker-style columns frame the decorative niche, introducing the clean lines and natural wood tones that carry through the rest of the project. As you move toward the dining area, larger white oak columns replace the original painted fiberglass posts, creating a more substantial and welcoming transition between rooms.

Above the dining area, the ceiling recess was finished with tongue-and-groove planks and accented with faux beams fitted with decorative iron straps, adding depth and a sense of handcrafted detail. In the corners, two recessed wall areas were converted into functional display spaces with custom corner cabinets. Each cabinet features large glass doors and adjustable shelving, allowing the homeowners to showcase décor while adding warmth and dimension to the room.

The result is a cohesive, thoughtfully detailed space where rustic white oak becomes the unifying element—elevating both the entryway and dining area with craftsmanship and character.

Custom Window Bench With Hidden Storage

This project transformed an unused bay-window area into a beautiful, functional feature that adds both storage and comfort to the room.

Working with my client, the goal was to create a window bench that felt like it had always belonged in the space—clean, simple, and seamlessly integrated with the surrounding walls and trim.

The bench features push-to-open doors, eliminating the need for hardware and keeping the design uncluttered. Each door is accented with applied moldings that mimic traditional wainscoting, giving the bench subtle architectural character without overwhelming the room. The wide, continuous seat offers plenty of space to sit and relax, whether putting on shoes, enjoying a book, or simply taking in the view from the windows.

The finished piece blends practicality with understated design, turning an overlooked corner into a useful and inviting part of the home.

Custom Bedroom Built-In with Fireplace and Floating Shelves

This project was both challenging and immensely rewarding — a true collaboration that turned my client’s vision into reality.

Starting from her initial concept sketch, we worked closely together to create a built-in design that perfectly complements the bedroom’s layout and enhances both form and function.

The cabinetry is custom-painted in a deep, refined green, highlighted by a large mantel built from European white oak veneer. Matching floating corner shelves with brass rails and a tiled backdrop add warmth and texture, while integrated LED lighting illuminates the shelves, TV area, and toekick.

A sleek linear fireplace and wall-mounted TV bring comfort and modern style, and the tall armoire on the right provides generous storage. The finished piece blends craftsmanship and thoughtful design — a seamless, functional focal point for the room.

Reeded bathroom vanity and floating shelves

My client was looking for a specific size of reeding for this bathroom vanity. With the use of my 3D printer, I was able to print samples showing various diameter reeding. A quick and simple way to give her a physical model of what the final result would be.

Once the diameter of the reeding was selected I could order a set of custom knives for my molding machine and start work on the project.

The cabinet is built from sapele, which was stained prior to the application of a clear finish. The drawer boxes were all built to accommodate the pluming below the sink. The legs and open space below the cabinetry give the vanity the appearance of a piece of furniture.

Fireplace Surround

Fireplace surround with shiplap and rustic white oak veneer mantle. The mantle also features a flush mount electric outlet with USB ports. Perfect for those holiday decorations needing electricity or a point to recharge your phone.

Master Bathroom Vanity Cabinets

Master bathroom vanities made from rustic white oak veneer. Plenty of drawer space including lower drawers in the sink area, maximizing the space normally taken up by plumbing fixtures. A large cabinet set on the counter also increases the amount of storage space.

Wet Bar and TV Surround

A custom color, LED lights behind glass doors and the addition of a slatted back panel made for a unique wet bar and TV surround with this project. A beautiful and functional addition to my clients “man-cave”.
